Guild Application

Hi, my name is matt and I am wanting to apply to your guild. I have not done ANY WotLK raids as of yet, except a little Naxx and VoA, but I am very keen to learn.

I play a combat rogue


with a GS or 5100, I have progressed as far as I can without a guild. In 5 man instances my DPS sits around 3-3.5k I am sure it will go up in a raid situation. I work afternoon shift and get home from work about 10:30 - 11:00, that makes it quite hard to find a decent guild to raid with.

I used to raid in BC clearing up to Hyjal and some of BT. I also raided MC, BWL, AQ, ZG and a bit of Naxx at lvl 60. So I have been raiding sight from the start and understand how raiding works, vent/DBM/research boss strats/loot rules etc.... I am not in it for loot, even though it is nice to upgrade. I get more satisfaction from downing a boss that the guild has been working towards.

Anyway, I hope to hear from you in game. I also knock around on my alt Tryptamine lvl 80 holy priest. So if I am not on Moist, i'll prolly be on Tryp. Also if your having trouble typing my name I apologize, I had this name forever and when I xfer'd to this server someone else had my name so I had to get a little silly with it. To get the ô character hold down 'alt' type 1-4-7 on the keypad and release 'alt'.

Tell us about your gems, enchants, and spec, why you've chosen them, and how they are beneficial in a raid environment:

Combat rogue - I use Shadow Panther as a guide for all my gear and gem/enchant advice. I play a combat rogue because a. they are fun and b. I can usually have a ciggie burning in my left hand and play ok

Are you running a stable internet connection, or do you have any problems with graphic intensive fights?

I am on a ADSL2 connection, I usually get a 30min HD porno though while I am having a shower, I am happy with that hope you are too.

Do you have Ventrilo, and do you have a mic that doesn't break eardrums?

I do have vent, and with a little bit of pre raid mic output knob twiddling I am sure my mic should be fine.

What are you looking for in a 10man raiding guild, and what are your goals with regards to raiding?

I just want to progress though raid content and hopefully upgrade a bit in the process. I get more satisfaction from downing a boss that the guild has worked hard at than receiving loot.

Tell us a little about yourself outside WoW:

I am a 27 yr old cleaner from Brisbane. I like long walks on the beach watching the sunset and feeling the soft sand between my toes. lol. Just kidding. I play guitar and love Karaoke. I have a dog (whippet) called Lady. I listen to music as often as I can. I like lots of music from Tool and RATM to soft acoustic like Ben Harper and Hootie & the Blowfish. I am a big Stephen King fan and have read alot of his books. I also like to get out on the weekend and drink up a storm with my mates around a BBQ full of nice steak.

Are you available to raid regularly on Wed/Thu 11 - 2:30am? How many other nights per week would you usually be online at those times?

I work in the afternoons and finish my job around 10pm, that lands me home about 10:30 - 11:00, I can raid every night at those times. Weekends are a bit hard for me as anything could happen, but I can still be there on weekends if it's planned.
